The recent milestone propels development forward at the BVU airport, located on the southeast side of the expanding Las Vegas Metro Area.
Albuquerque, N.M. — August 25, 2026 After a competitive nationwide process, High Flying Hangars has landed a lease contract for 36 acres of land at Boulder City Municipal Airport, based on the company’s proposed hangar development. The City Council of Boulder City, Nevada, approved the contract in August 2026.
“We are committed to providing the best possible customer experience for those who use our airport, and we felt confident that High Flying Hangars shared our business principles,” said Marissa Adou, Boulder City Airport Manager. “Given the current demand for hangar space in Southern Nevada, we believe this partnership will provide residents and visitors the amenities they want most at a reasonable cost, while providing the City a wonderful environment for general aviation enthusiasts.”
The development plan currently includes hangars from 40 feet in width, for single-engine piston aircraft, up to 100 feet in width for larger private jets, along with an exclusive multi-use clubhouse facility for owners. The parcel is located on the north side of the airport with excellent runway access.
